Summary of the Wind
Wind Summary – As the name suggests this poem is about wind. However, the wind is a natural phenomenon. And in the poem, the poet describes the power of the wind and calls wind destructive. Further, he links the destructive power of the wind with the difficulties of life. He says that weak people breakdown easily, but stronger people emerge out stronger. Also, the poem gives a very important lesson that we should be mentally tough and physically strong in order to survive the hardships of life. However, a weak person crumbles and breakdown like an old building. So it is necessary that we should make these destructive forces our friends with our determination and strength.
कविता के पहले भाग में हवा की क्रिया का वर्णन है। कवि हवा को धीरे से आने को कहता है। वह हवा से अनुरोध करता है कि वह खिड़कियों के शटर न तोड़ें, कागजों को न बिखेरें और किताबों को शेल्फ से नीचे न फेंके।
लेकिन हवा किताबों को फेंक देती है और पन्ने फाड़ देती है। कवि कहता है कि वायु दुर्बलों का उपहास उड़ाती है। यह कमजोर घरों, टूटे हुए दरवाजों, छतों और यहां तक कि कमजोर दिलों को भी गिरा देती है। वह सब कुछ कुचल देता है जो कमजोर है।
कवि हमें मजबूत होने की सलाह देता है। तभी हम हवा से खुद को बचा सकते हैं। हमें पक्के दरवाजों वाले मजबूत घर बनाने चाहिए। हमारा तन और मन भी मजबूत होना चाहिए।
यह दुनिया का तरीका है कि कमजोरों को लात मारी जाए और ताकतवरों से दोस्ती की जाए। हवा कमजोर आग को बुझा देती है लेकिन मजबूत आग को गरजने और बढ़ने में मदद करती है।
इस प्रकार, कविता इस विचार को व्यक्त करती है कि कोई भी कमजोरों की परवाह नहीं करता । हवा भी ताकतवर लोगों की तरफ है। हमें सफल होने और जीवन में चुनौतियों से पार पाने के लिए खुद को मजबूत बनाना चाहिए।

The poem gives us a very important message that we should not feel bad that we are facing so many challenges and hardships in life. Instead, we should make ourselves mentally and physically strong to face challenges.

Answer: The last four lines convey the message that those who are not determined and lack confidence face defeat. And those who set their targets and make sincere efforts are not disturbed by any obstacle.

Answer: The poet speaks to the wind with humour. I opine that the poet’s behaviour is pertinent and I have also seen the wind devastating the property mercilessly. The poet invites the wind to attack him and intends to prepare himself for the attack.
